Looking Ahead to 2018
Can you believe that we are in the last few weeks of December? As we wrap up the month and year, our 2018 calendar is already beginning to fill. No time is wasted, as the Fairmount Fibers team will be kicking things off with exciting events in January!
For the first time, Manos del Uruguay yarns will have an exhibitor's booth at Vogue Knitting Live in New York City. This event is taking place January 12-14, at the New York Marriott Marquis. Between classes and lectures, stop in the marketplace to see the Manos del Uruguay models, samples, and yarn. We’ve partnered with several shops from whom you can purchase your favorite Manos del Uruguay Yarns.
The new year brings new colorways and we can’t wait for you to pick up Milo from your local yarn shop in space-dyed colors. We’re already considering the patterns in which we can pair up the new space-dyed colors with the tonals. The Montevideo Pullover Top and Smattering Wrap are two crochet projects that come to mind.
Our Spring collection is sure to brighten those grey winter days. The new collection is an ensemble of designs and you can look forward to a crochet capsule. Our fans and friends in Venice, Florida will get a first look as Needlefish Yarns will have the collection from January 1 through January 22. Stay tuned for announcements and more details in January on Facebook, Instagram, and Ravelry.
