Hello, November! Here in the U.S., the weather is cooler, the days are shorter, and magazine winter and holiday issues are previewing online! Let us enable your "to-do" list with a quick round-up of the latest patterns that call for Manos del Uruguay yarns A one-skein quick-to-knit project can keep your motivation going when you need a break from your current project. The Flecha Cowl is the newest free pattern to download from the Fairmount Fibers design team. One skein of Serpentina is all you need! The sample shown here is P1563 Amelia. Did you know that the Serpentina colorways are named in honor of influential women?  Vogue Knitting Holiday 2017 #03 Scandinavian Hat in Manos del Uruguay Fino Speaking of influential women, Deborah Newton embraced the traditional Scandinavian stocking cap in honor of her Swedish mother and grandmother in her new design found in the Vogue Knitting Holiday 2017 issue.  The #03 Scandinavian Hat uses Manos del Uruguay Fino in a modified version that eliminates an inner lining.  Orianna pullover by Paula Pereira, Pom Pom Quarterly, in Manos del Uruguay Wool Clasica Cables and colorwork combine in Paula Pereira's Orianna, published in Pom Pom Quarterly Issue 23.  An assortment of Wool Clasica colors are used, including 59 Kohl (main color), 31 Nickel, 25 Shale, 34 Oilslick, 71 Wisteria, 68 Citric, and 80 Highlighter. Maybe this would be a good wishlist item? An unassembled sweater, as it were, and you could ask for the yarn for this project!
