Spring Showers
Do you have any spring celebrations coming up? A handmade item, knit or crochet, is a lovely gesture for a bridal or baby shower. Today we are sharing projects made by our friends on Ravelry in Manos del Uruguay yarns to celebrate these wonderful events!
Be sure to budget your time wisely on a project such as a bridal shawl! The pressure of a deadline can be stressful. Having enough time will allow you to avoid careless mistakes and devote time for proper blocking. Shown above, clockwise from the top: EmilyWool's beautiful "Out of the Darkness" shawl knit in Fino photographed by Julie Hagenbuch, KathyBannon's Diamond Fizz knit in Marina with two strands held together, and Loranel's Callais in Fino.
Baby items are a fun way in which to try out a new-to-you stitch pattern or colorway. These projects tend to work up quickly and still yield a high "Awww!" factor. Shown clockwise from left: Fitzknits721's Pepita in Alegria, Charliehrtsmatt's Angel Wings Pinafore crocheted in Serena, and woolnutzi's Franca Fun Baby Sweater in Franca.
