Licorice Lace Cardigan (2023JFC-3)
Spring 2023 Julia Farwell-Clay Collection
In planning this collection and looking over the Manos del Uruguay palette, one can't help but think of the kaleidoscope of sugar spun colors of the candy counter, the fun of choosing, and the dizzying joy of rainbow gobstoppers, pastel taffy chews, pink bubblegum and bright red shoestring licorice to cherish for what, an hour before they're devoured?
Nostalgic yet modern, this collection is designed with entertainment and wearability in mind: each piece brings a festive need-to-have layer for those in between spring and summer temperatures in shapes of the moment.
--
A classic lace-inflected cardigan with slightly boxy modern proportions, knit in lucious Alpaca Heather for a true year round sweater to layer over a summer evening sundress or under a winter wool blazer.

Please note that the lace patterns are charted.

from 100 reviewsI really like this pattern and learning the Swedish Weave stitch. Hoping to finish this cowl in time to give as a Christmas gift to a good friend. Thank you for the wonderful design!
Easy to follow instructions. I made this for my cousin who feels cold round her neck, she loved the pockets.
I made these mitts in the same colour as the beanie to match, I made it for my cousin's wife birthday, and she lived them both.
This hat was easy to make and fun with its points looking like cat ears.
Haven't started the shawl yet but its next in line project wise, I'm going to make it for my mum.
loved this pattern, enough texture to make it interesting and rows and rows of plain knitting ideal for knitting when you're tired, but can't sit idle
They gave me one of the colors I asked for! Thanks guys!!
I love the pattern. Ordering and downloading was easy. I haven’t made it yet, but after reading through the pattern the instructions are clear. For a novice I think it will provide a great learning challenge and enhance my skills as a knitter.
The ordering & download were easy. I haven’t made it yet, but after reading through the pattern it looks well written and presented and easy enough for a relatively novice knitter to understand.
