Alegria Grande Inspirations
Alegria Grande is the worsted-weight big sister of our popular Alegria. An easy-care blend of superwash merino and polyamide, it’s perfect for bright, beautiful, durable, squishable projects of all kinds. This yarn is also available in 25 gram mini-skeins, Bocados, that are just right for colorwork. Today we’re sharing a round-up of new patterns and projects to inspire you!
New Patterns
The Stripes and Blocks Double Knit Baby Blanket is the newest free pattern in Alegria Grande. Knit in Agave and Tahiti, the semi-solid and space-dyed colors give the stripes-and-blocks design a playful contrast! The double-knit fabric is extra cozy, and since it’s machine washable, it’s a great choice for babies and their families.
Emily Wood’s Electric Slide shawl features rows of garter stitch interspersed with slipped stitches at staggered intervals, lighting up the shawl with bright pops of color. The main color of Alegria Grande is Kohl and the contrast colors are Alegria Grande Bocados in Cactus Flower, Tahiti, Spirulina, Juanita, and Turmeric.
