Mid-Summer Pattern Round-Up

Today Fairmount Fibers would like to share with you a round-up of recently published patterns, perfect for travel or simply relaxing in your favorite location near the pool, at the park, or on your porch! Each of these patterns calls for Manos del Uruguay yarns that are a blend of fibers, you won't be sweating under a pile of wool on your lap. Remember, the projects you start today will be the finished objects you reach for this fall! Checkerboard Lace Scarf Tree and Leaf Pullover Look for these two designs in the August 2015 issue of I Like Knitting. Angelia Robinson's Checkerboard Lace Scarf is knit in a simple lace pattern in Manos Serena. This scarf will be one to use over and over again. The Tree and Leaf Pullover, by Ela Torrente, is inspired by fairy tales to create an asymmetrical, seamless cardigan in Manos Silk Blend. Pineapple Cardigan in Manos Serena Wavelength Beanie in Manos Silk Blend Time-honored pineapple lace gets an update with this modern crochet cardigan. Manos Serena is a wonderful season-spanning choice for this lightweight summer cardigan. This Pineapple Cardigan, designed by Angelia Robinson, is found in the August 2015 issue of I Like Crochet. Give crochet post stitches a chance with the Wavelength Beanie, by Sharon Zientara, included in the new Quick Crocheted Accessories book. This makes a great on-the-go pattern for your favorite guy or gal, worked up in two skeins of Manos Silk Blend.
