Published: Spring Patterns in Manos del Uruguay Yarns

The spring and summer issues of some of our favorite magazines are already on newsstands, and we’ve also spotted new patterns on Ravelry to fuel our project-planning dreams in Manos del Uruguay yarns. Here are a few of our recent favorites!

Patterns in Print

The Grand Junction Shawl is created with a combination of stockinette, garter stitch, and mosaic colorwork rows in a variety of bold Silk Blend colors. It's a trendy, cute accessory to wear on a chilly night outdoors. Emily Wood's asymmetrical shawl is included in Interweave Knits Summer 2019.

SpillyJane's Avo Toast Socks are lively, fun, and colorful in two colors of  Alegria. These socks are worked in the round from the cuff down with a peasant heel. This pattern is published in Interweave Knits Summer 2019.

The new Making includes Bristol Ivy's Yardang Shawl. This shawl is lightweight, warm, and features a lovely lace pattern in Milo inspired by desert landscapes.

The Flickering Pullover's honeycomb lace pattern keeps you cool in the sun, and the stockinette body insulates you from overzealous air-conditioning! Jennifer Owens designed this top in Alegria Grande. Pick up (or download) the Summer 2019 knitscene for the pattern.

Indie Designs Published on Ravelry

Gruvy, by Woolly Hooligan, is reminiscent of a mosaic design. The negative space created in the background is just as captivating as the pattern itself. Shown here in the Filigree and Silhouette colorways of Fino.

Allison Sarnoff's Flame Test shawlette is perfect for brightly variegated swirls of color in Alegria. Any pooling or flashing is broken up by the bee stitch, while every other row increases keep the colors moving.

Which patterns will make it to your queue first? We love when you share your project plans with us and encourage you to tag us on your favorite social platform, be it Facebook, Instagram, or Ravelry.
