Spring Shawls in Manos del Uruguay Yarns
In the spring we often look to shawl projects. For many, they are great layering pieces for transitional weather. Depending on the shape and stitch pattern, they can be a challenging yet creative distraction, or simple enough for “auto-pilot” crafting when you need a break. We’d like to spotlight several beautiful shawls made with Manos del Uruguay yarns to inspire your next cast-on.
Knitters on Ravelry shared their finished projects with us. We are inspired by the pairings of pattern and yarn! Clockwise from the top: RCKnits’ Breathe and Hope shawl in Alegria, Lacylibrarylady’s Hipster Shawl in Milo, Randyjen4’s Moongazing in Silk Blend, and ElectricDaisy’s A Mother’s Prayer in Alegria.
Also on Ravelry you can purchase CJ Brady’s Meraki Shawl, to crochet in Alegria, or download Susana Lobos Designs’ free Serenita Shawl, to knit in Alegria Grande.
We’d like to remind you about the shawls Grace Akhrem designed for our Spring 2020 collection. Shown above are Romneya and Matilija in Fino and Phacelia in Alma.
Next time you cast on or bind off a new project we would love to see it. Shawls, socks, sweaters, or something completely different, we enjoy seeing them all! When you knit or crochet with Manos del Uruguay yarns, tag us in your photos and posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Ravelry!
