The Celebration Collection and More in Manos del Uruguay Franca

The new colors of Franca are here! This is the Celebration Collection, in bright and cheery colors to help keep some of the winter blahs away in fun and quick knits. Today we’re sharing a few pattern and project ideas for this fabulous hand-dyed yarn from Manos del Uruguay. 

Appropriately named Party, Ribbon, Balloon, Marshmallow, Candy, Confetti and Cupcake, they are designed to face the cold with bold, saturated hues. 

Party, with its colorful speckles, coordinates with 6 different colors. In the new free pattern, the Rise and Shine hat and cowl, we paired Party and Ribbon.

Why not use the Celebration Collection together in one big project? The Fiesta Scarf uses one skein of each color in this giant, squishy wrap! 

Franca is a great garment choice! The Yésica Vest and Yésica Hat incorporate different stitches and design elements to show off the yarn’s thickness and colors. Shown here in Camel, but wouldn’t it be fun in Ribbon or Balloon?
