Charpentier Cardigan (2021B)
Spring Make-It-Now 2021
Our Spring '21 Make It Now collection features stitch textures -- mesh, cables, seed, eyelets, and knit-purl combinations in embossed relief -- in light fabrics and soft colors that highlight March's transitional weather.
-
As March is also Women's History Month, the pattern names nod to women who've won the Nobel Prize: Grazia Deledda (Literature, 1926), Emmanuelle Charpentier (Chemistry, 2020), Gertrude Elion (Medicine, 1988), Ada Yonath (Chemistry, 2009), and Alice Munro (Literature, 2013).
/////
The deep v-neck of the Charpentier Cardigan flows continuously into crossover body. Knit in one piece from the top-down, the design features a lace panel that begins at the shoulder for the sleeves and at the bust line for the body.
*Please note the stitch pattern is charted.*

from 99 reviewsI really like this pattern and learning the Swedish Weave stitch. Hoping to finish this cowl in time to give as a Christmas gift to a good friend. Thank you for the wonderful design!
Easy to follow instructions. I made this for my cousin who feels cold round her neck, she loved the pockets.
I made these mitts in the same colour as the beanie to match, I made it for my cousin's wife birthday, and she lived them both.
This hat was easy to make and fun with its points looking like cat ears.
Haven't started the shawl yet but its next in line project wise, I'm going to make it for my mum.
loved this pattern, enough texture to make it interesting and rows and rows of plain knitting ideal for knitting when you're tired, but can't sit idle
They gave me one of the colors I asked for! Thanks guys!!
I love the pattern. Ordering and downloading was easy. I haven’t made it yet, but after reading through the pattern the instructions are clear. For a novice I think it will provide a great learning challenge and enhance my skills as a knitter.
The ordering & download were easy. I haven’t made it yet, but after reading through the pattern it looks well written and presented and easy enough for a relatively novice knitter to understand.
Everything arrived in wonderful shape and was exactly as I hoped it would be. I wasn't surprised -- I've ordered from this organization for years and years.
