Industry-Only Uruguay Trip: June 13 - 23, 2025
We are offering an industry-only trip for yarn shop owners and staff, yarn reps, designers, and those involved in the yarn and fiber industry.

We have two main goals for our industry-only trip:
- This trip will be tightly focused on the Uruguayan wool industry, and the role Manos del Uruguay has within it.
- We want to create a relaxed environment where industry folks can collaborate to brain storm challenges, share experiences of successful strategies, and exchange ideas.
Of course, we will also do fun cultural activities and leave time for plenty of knitting!

You will make a non-refundable $500 deposit per person at checkout. This deposit goes towards your trip cost.

Payment in full will be due by 1/31/25. We will contact you upon registration for your preference of double or single occupancy.

Please read carefully:
• Registration is first-come, first-served
• To register, you will pay a non-refundable $500 deposit/person and this deposit goes towards your trip cost
• Once you have registered, we will follow up for your single or double-occupancy selection, dietary preferences, etc.

A note on group size:
We keep our group size small - with a maximum of 22 participants - to ensure quality and individual attention. Our tour guide will provide insightful information and translation help, all backed up by years of experience and a deep love of homeland.

A note about mobility:
• There will be some walking, mostly flat, as we visit areas of Montevideo and the Manos cooperatives
• We will be taking a private bus between stops, so you must be able to ascend the stairs into the bus
• We will be on the bus for a couple hours at a time as we drive from destination to destination. There is a restroom on the bus, and you can stand to stretch your legs. We recommend bringing knitting, of course!
• Unfortunately, we can't accommodate wheelchairs or scooters on this trip
