Marla and Sami Collection
Marla is made from 2 strands of lighter-weight yarn that have been dyed separately and then plied together. When worked, Marla creates a marled fabric, where the colors are uniquely distributed. Sami, the semi-solid DK-weight sister to Marla, has a palette of 11 coordinating colors!

This "doughnut" cowl has no wrong side. It begins with a solid area of one color, then changes to a small geometric stranded pattern for awhile, then moves to the other color on its own, and finally repeats the stranded pattern. The solid areas give the eye a place to rest as well as highlighting each yarn individually.

LOVE this pattern! Have already made 2 and thinking about trying it as the start of a top down pullover. An idea for a new pattern!
Haven't started knitting yet but I love the pattern, very clear to follow
I decided to go with Wisp of Warmth over other patterns because I liked the edges and the fact that I could make it as wide or long as I wanted. The instructions are clear even for a novice. The wyif got me at first, but when I took it row by row, all became apparent with the result of a lovely edge. I used a fine wool yarn & it is very warm even though it is narrow and a single time around my neck. Highly recommend it. Great use of stash. Thanks for free pattern.
I love the final result with this pattern... a warm and attractive poncho-like effect.i used a changing color wool so it has a lovely three color play between the colors. The knitting isn't was not terribly interesting or difficult so that wirings for beginners.
