We're falling into fall with a chunky granny square scarf crocheted in our non-superwash 100% Corriedale wool yarn, Cardo. The Retro Cardo Scarf uses 4 colors of Cardo (in one skein apiece!): Bottle (dark green), Gecko (light green), Spirulina (acid yellow), and Goldenrod (golden yellow).

A clever joining method neatly brings the squares together; paired with a single crochet border around the whole scarf, the finished piece is quite elegant.

Easy to follow instructions. I made this for my cousin who feels cold round her neck, she loved the pockets.
I made these mitts in the same colour as the beanie to match, I made it for my cousin's wife birthday, and she lived them both.

I love the pattern. Ordering and downloading was easy. I haven’t made it yet, but after reading through the pattern the instructions are clear. For a novice I think it will provide a great learning challenge and enhance my skills as a knitter.
