The Flamé

The Flamé is crafted from 100% handspun fine Peruvian Merino wool, celebrated for its natural softness, rich texture, and timeless beauty. Ethically made in Peru, this yarn offers a warm, elevated feel with a beautifully artisanal finish.

KINUA works directly with a small group of local farmers from the Andes Mountains, nearly 4,000 meters (13,000 feet) above sea level, to hand-select small batches of the finest Peruvian merino wool. Each lot is scoured, milled, spun and quality controlled by the KINUA team.

Please note, wholesale orders are capped at 15 skeins per color, due to the handspun production limitations.

At KINUA, we work with a variety of leaves, Andean flowers, roots and vegetable waste celebrating nature. Our expertise in natural dyeing has allowed us to formulate an exquisite color palette of more than 100 colors that are carefully tested to ensure our sustainable yarns are free from any heavy metal and synthetic products. Natural dyeing has a perfect affinity for wool, alpaca and cotton fibers and produces a natural aesthetic and harmonious vivid colors.
