Serena, our sportweight baby alpaca-pima cotton yarn, is a yarn destined for soft, close-to-the skin garments and accessories. The yarn is amazingly versatile at the range of gauges it can accomplish, from a compact and opaque fabric to a loose, gauzy one. Capri is knit back-and-forth from hem to shoulder. The back has extra stitches, which are gathered into 4 box pleats to form a back yoke. This also gives the piece a swingy, A-line silhouette. Raw edges and minimal finishing add to the casual feel.
