Janey (2020D)
Fall/Winter 2020 Alpaca Heather Collection
Four sweaters (and a vest option!) show off the qualities of Alpaca Heather: softness; warmth without bulk; round, 3-ply twist to flatter textured stitches as well as stockinette; beautifully heathered undyed colors; and a coordinated palette of saturated dyed colors that retain the subtlety of the underlying heathered tones.

Janey was envisioned as an enduring wardrobe staple piece, striking the balance between comfort and elegance. Wear it as a Fall or Spring coat or layer it on in Winter when you’re curled up in your knitting chair. LOVE this pattern! Have already made 2 and thinking about trying it as the start of a top down pullover. An idea for a new pattern!
Haven't started knitting yet but I love the pattern, very clear to follow
I decided to go with Wisp of Warmth over other patterns because I liked the edges and the fact that I could make it as wide or long as I wanted. The instructions are clear even for a novice. The wyif got me at first, but when I took it row by row, all became apparent with the result of a lovely edge. I used a fine wool yarn & it is very warm even though it is narrow and a single time around my neck. Highly recommend it. Great use of stash. Thanks for free pattern.
I love the final result with this pattern... a warm and attractive poncho-like effect.i used a changing color wool so it has a lovely three color play between the colors. The knitting isn't was not terribly interesting or difficult so that wirings for beginners.
