The Interesting Bits (F141)
The Interesting Bits (F141)
If you've ever looked at a top-down triangular shawl and thought, "I like it -- but it's going to take forever to get to the interesting bits," then this is the shawl for you.
It has a conventional top-down option, but there's also a scarf version that skips all the lead-up and begins right where the slip-stitch pattern is. So whether you're in the mood for some (fairly) mindless knitting first, or just want to skip to the interesting bits, this one's for you!
Please note this pattern contains charts.
Updated pattern: please use version dated 1/20/23 in the bottom left-hand corner
Scarf: About 6½” wide and 78” long
Waste yarn for provisional cast-on
Tapestry needle
Scarf shown in Feliz, 1 sk each of Z2206 Mulberry (MC) and Z9089 Huarache (CC)

from 43 reviewsAn easy, but beautiful shawl. Great for beginners, but interesting at any level. It drapes beautifully over the shouders and had real "staying on" power!
Sooooo soft. Luxurious is right. And beautifully dyed. An exceptionally nice yarn.
Great pattern. Easy to knit and read. Love the construction too!
